What this site collects
Reading this site needs no account, and the site sets no login cookies of its own. Standard server logs may record request metadata such as requested paths, referrer headers and a coarse request origin, used only for operation and abuse prevention.
Audience measurement
Pages load a third-party audience-measurement script operated by 51.la, which records aggregate statistics such as page views, referrers and approximate device type. The measurement is used to see which entries are read and which referrers send readers; it is not used to build a profile of any individual.
Readers who prefer to avoid third-party measurement can block the script with any standard content blocker. Every entry stays fully readable with it blocked.
External elements and the contact button
The bottom promotional bar on content pages picks a link from a small internal pool stored on this server; it is not served by a third-party advertising network and it sets no cookie. The contact button on the directory page only composes a message when a reader actively taps it, and no contact data is collected by this site.
Corrections and contact
Requests about the practices described here, or corrections to any entry, can be raised through the contact element on the directory page. Corrections that change a filed claim type are applied to the entry and noted in its text.
